The Raptor Fair 2025

Just arrived home after a long drive back from the Raptor Fair at the International Centre for Birds of Prey. I wanted to thank Charlie Heap and his team for a great couple of days at a very well organised event, and their support for the Hawk Board. Gordon Mellor, Gary Biddiss, and I answered many questions from both falconers and the public, as well as having some long discussions on moving the HB forward as part of our drive to improve communications and make HB more relevant to falconers and falconry related activities.

The most special part of today was when a young boy found Gary and insisted on giving him 70p as a donation for HB and the future of falconry. Let’s hope we can keep falconry alive so he can enjoy it in years to come.
