Defra - Avian Influenza Latest Situation

Two further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 have been confirmed. As follows:
• At a premises near Silloth, Cumberland, Cumbria. A 3km Captive Bird (Monitoring) Controlled Zone has been put in place around the premises.
• At a premises near Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire. A 3km Protection Zone and a 10km Surveillance Zone have been put in place around each premises.
An Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) with mandatory housing measures is now in place across areas of England and an Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) with mandatory biosecurity measures is also in force across Great Britain: https://www.gov.uk/.../bird-flu-regional-avian-influenza....
