Guidance for Breeders – Permit Re-Issue and Amendment Process
Re-Issue Process:
Notify the Licensing Team
Email wildlife.licensing@apha.gov.uk with the permit reference number and a description of the error.
Return the Incorrect Permits
Post the original permits to:

Re-Issue Scenarios:
1. Applicant Error
A payment link for the £1.50 re-issue fee per permit will be sent via email as per initial application process.If Special Delivery is required, this must be requested in the original email. An additional fee of £8.75 will apply.Manual applicants must make payment via the payment line.Once payment and the returned permits are received, the case officer will re-issue and dispatch the amended permits.
2. Case Officer Error
No fee is required.The incorrect permits must still be returned to the above address.The case officer will correct and re-issue the permits using the original delivery method.
3. Lost in the Post
We can only re-issue lost permits after 10 working days from the date of issue.No fee is required.Permits will be re-issued using the original delivery method.If the original permits arrive after re-issue, please return them to the address above.
In most cases, the process above will apply. However, in certain situations a new application may be required if so, the case officer will advise the applicant directly. Amendments can only be made on Article 10 applications if requested within six months of issue, amendments to Imports/Exports can only be made whilst the permit is still valid so please check all documents carefully upon receipt.
