Game Fair 2025

The Hawk Board had a fantastic time attending the Game Fair last weekend! It was a brilliant opportunity to connect with fellow falconers, bird of prey keepers, and enthusiasts from all over the country.

One of the highlights was seeing the incredible diversity within the community—different styles of falconry, people working with and keeping a variety of species, and a real mix of experience levels, from seasoned professionals to newcomers just discovering their passion. The representation on display really underscored the diversity and depth of the falconry tradition in the UK.

We were particularly encouraged by the number of thoughtful conversations around welfare, conservation, and the future of bird of prey keeping. It’s clear that this community is not only passionate but deeply committed to responsible and welfare-friendly practices.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat and share stories, —it was a pleasure to meet so many like-minded individuals.
