All-Party Parliamentary Group - Falconry

Hawk Board and falconry as a whole are hoping to put together an All-Party Parliamentary Group to help fight for our cause and give us the opportunity to ask questions about legislation etc directly to parliament.

All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

An APPG needs a group behind it to run logistics and administration which could be run by Hawk Board. Another good reason for standing in the upcoming HB election and making sure that if you belong to any of the HB member organisations that you use your vote.

We need help from the falconry community to assist by finding out if their MP’s might be sympathetic towards falconry and possible be willing to join a falconry APPG.

The best course of action would be to arrange a meeting with you local MP and assess whether they would be the right sort of person to sit on the Falconry APPG.
