Hawk Board Election – Results 2018
The result of the election for the 6 specialist members of the Board is as follows: Derek Stotton Gordon Mellor Graham Irving Jimmy Robinson Mark Upton Martyn Standley The new Board will begin at the meeting in October 2018 and will run for 4 years. They should all be congratulated and thanked for being prepared to give up their time to ensure that falconry continues in the UK and that all bird of prey keepers are not burdened by unnecessary legislation. #HawkBoard #Election

The Hawk Board election for the 6 specialist members of the Board will take place this year. Those elected will serve for a term of 4 years. The result of the election will be announced on 31st August 2018. The elections relate to the election of the 6 specialist members who are elected by the members of the Clubs affiliated to the Board. Club and non-club members are eligible to stand for election to the Board, but every candidate must be proposed and seconded by members
Wildlife Licence Charges
Just to let everyone know that Natural England have a consultation on thier website at the moment concerning the full recovery of costs involved in processing and issuing licences, unfortunatly the current proposals include a £350 annual fee for a quarry licence and a charge of £101 per hour to process an application to recapture a lost hawk ... some of you may want to make your feelings know about these charges! #HawkBoard #WildlifeLicence #NaturalEngland #DEFRA
